The Flames saw their five-game winning streak come to an end with a 1-0 defeat on the road at the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday evening, but they still retain leadership of the Pacific Division as things stand.
The Flames are currently averaging 3.45 Goals per Game, which puts them up in 5th position in the overall NHL standings. Defensively they are allowing 2.71 Goals per Game, which leaves them in an excellent 4th overall. On an player basis, Sean Monahan leads the way with 18 goals to his name, while Johnny Gaudreau has contributed 27 assists so far.
The Philadelphia Flyers also come into this game on the back of a loss, although they went down to a far heavier 7-1 beating on the road against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday afternoon.
