Lakers vs. Pacers Match Preview & Betting Odds 2018/19
November 29, 2018
Expectations were high for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (11-9) coming into the season. They have since come crashing down as it has become painfully how much growth the team needs to have to succeed.
They have been playing some decent basketball even with Rajon Rondo out with an injury. But they lost a tough one to the Orlando Magic Sunday and were blown out by the Denver Nuggets (117-85) Tuesday night.
What has fans concerned about the loss to the Nuggets was how bad the team looked in just about every facet of the game.

To keep from losing their third in a row, they will have to give a better effort against the Indiana Pacers (13-8) Thursday night.
Indiana, on the other hand, will be trying to win their third in a row. The task will be harder without Victor Oladipo in the lineup. But the team has been successful in generating shots moving the ball around more. This has resulted in them recording 30+ assists in three of their last four games.
Despite their recent poor performance against the Nuggets, the Lakers have won nine of their last 13. LeBron James has been his usual dominant self. But the Pacers don’t necessarily need to stop him. They just have to keep the rest of the Lakers from getting on track.
So—who’s going to win?
The Lakers will play better, and LeBron will try to carry them while ignoring whatever calls Luke Walton makes —but he will not be enough on his own. But look for the Pacers to win a close one here. Take Indiana to win over the Lakers, straight up and against the spread. As for the over/under—go with the under.
