Sports Illustrated – There are a few different NBA experts making picks and predictions for the 2017 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. Five of them, including Rohan Nadkarni, Rob Mahoney, Andrew Sharp, Ben Golliver, and Lee Jenkins, are calling for the Warriors to win this series in five games. Unfortunately for the Cleveland Cavaliers there are only two people at Sports Illustrated that think they can eventually win this thing. Jeremy Woo believes that the Cavs will win this series in seven game. Matt Dollinger thinks the Cavs can do it in six. All in all, there’s very little confidence in the defending champions.

CBS Sports – It’s a similar story at CBS Sports where six out the seven panel experts believe that the Golden State Warriors will come away with a victory. Bill Reiter, Ethan Skolnick, and Chris Barnewall, all believe that the Warriors will take the full seven games. Jack Maloney thinks it will take them just five and James Herbert and Matt Moore are taking the six game middle ground. The lone hold out for the underdog is Brad Botkin who believes that the Cavaliers can win the series in seven games.

Jon Price (S.I.T) – Jon Price, who runs a Sports Information Trading website can give us a little bit of a sharper view on the festivities. He’s not associated with a major news network and his picks need to be good to keep customers. That being said, he’s calling for the Cleveland Cavaliers to win this series in six games.

Predictwise – Predictwise uses betting trend information to accumulate NBA predictions and they already have a mountain of data available regarding the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. Currently their prediction model is showing the the Warriors will win this series with a confidence of 72%.
