Atlantic Division rivals Boston Bruins (5-1-2) and Toronto Maple Leafs (5-3-2) face each other for the second time in three days in NHL action at TD Garden on Tuesday evening.

The pair met on Saturday night at the Scotiabank Arena, with Toronto running out 4-3 winners thanks to a goal 3:54 into overtime from Morgan Rielly. Rielly also scored the opening goal of the game, with the other scorers for the Maple Leafs being Dmytro Timashov and Alexander Kerfoot. Frederik Andersen made 42 saves.

The goals for the Bruins came from David Pastrnak, Jake DeBrusk and Danton Heinen, while Jaroslav Halak stopped 25 shots.

On the NHL stats front, Boston are only averaging 2.75 Goals per Game, but they make up for that defensively in only allowing 2.13. On an individual player basis, Dave Pastrnak has nine goals and 15 points, while Brad Marchand has provided eight assists to date.

Toronto also had a game Monday night which went to overtime, although on this occasion they were on the receiving end as they lost 4-3 at home to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Having been losing 2-0, the Maple Leafs rallied to lead 3-2 through goals from Kasperi Kapanen, Auston Matthews and William Nylander. However, the Blue Jackets leveled the game in the 3rd period, before Gustav Nyquist scored the winner 1:57 into OT.

The Maple Leafs are scoring at an impressive average of 3.80 Goals per Game, but they are allowing 3.40. Matthews has scored eight goals, while Mitch Marner has recorded 12 points and nine assists.
