Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs Edmonton Eskimos Predictions & Betting Odds - CFL Picks
November 16, 2019
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (15-3) meet the Edmonton Eskimos (8-10) in the Eastern Division on Final at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday afternoon.
This will be Hamilton’s fifth appearance in the Eastern Final in seven seasons and they will be confident of taking their place in the Grey Cup on the basis of their dominant form over the regular CFL season, during which they scored 551 points at an average of 30.6 per game. Their confidence will be further heightened in coming into this on a six-game winning streak.
Quarterback Dane Evans is the key man for the Tiger-Cats, who replaced the injured Jeremiah Masoli back in late July to great effect.
Edmonton caused a minor upset in reaching the Divisional Final with a 37-29 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the Eastern semi-final last weekend. The Eskimos’ QB, Trevor Harris, was their match-winner as he threw for 421 yards and a touchdown.
Hamilton had the better of things when these teams met during the regular season, winning both matches played – 30-27 in Edmonton in Week 15, then a 42-12 routing in Hamilton in Week 17.

Tiger-Cats vs Eskimos Betting Lines & Best Bets
Home-field advantage, an extra week to prepare, results in the regular season and the head-to-head record this year all point to a win for the Tiger-Cats as far as our CFL predictions go for this game.
Having beaten the Alouettes last weekend, the Eskimos have nothing to lose here and are playing without the level of expectation on the shoulders of their opponents.
Hamilton will be expected to win this game and our tip is for them to cover the spread in doing so.
