The Penguins had games on the road at the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday evening and on home-ice against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday morning prior to this game, with their last result before that being a 5-3 win on home-ice against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday evening, in which they rallied from being 2-0 down midway through the game.

The Flyers were in action themselves against the Capitals on Thursday evening and were on the road at the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday evening. Their last game before that was on home-ice against the Ottawa Senators on Monday evening, which resulted in a 3-2 win.
The Flyers are averaging 3.04 Goals per Game (11th overall), while defensively they are allowing 3.29 Goals per Game (26th overall). On an individual basis, Sean Couturier has 28 goals for the Flyers, while Claude Giroux has provided 53 assists.
In terms of predictions, the Flyers form has picked up considerably in recent weeks and they are now in playoff contention but, although the Penguins are not the force of old, they still have plenty of quality on their roster and with home-ice advantage they are the tips on the Money Line odds to take both points.
