The Toronto Raptors (7-3) are on the road at the Portland Trail Blazers (4-6) in the NBA at the Moda Center on Wednesday night.
Portland faced a road trip themselves on the Tuesday evening prior to this game where they went down 107-99 at the Sacramento Kings. Prior to that, the Blazers had ended a four-game losing streak with a 124-113 OT win at home (a first home victory in four games this season) to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
Damian Lillard had 30 points for Portland, with CJ McCollum adding 23, Hassan Whiteside had 21 and Anfernee Simons added a further 20 from the bench.
The Raptors went down to a 98-88 loss at the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night in their reunion with Kawhi Leonard. Pascal Siakam scored 16 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto, Norman Powell had 15 points and Fred VanVleet added 14.
Both teams have injury issues at present, with Portland missing Zach Collins, Rodney Hood, Pau Gasol and Jusuf Nurkic of late (some are long-term absentees). Toronto will be without Kyle Lowry (broken left thumb) and Serge Ibaka (right ankle sprain), while OG Anunoby will be assessed after leaving the court after two minutes against the Clippers, having been poked in the right eye by Leonard.
