The Nashville Predators also registered a win in their last game on Saturday evening, when they beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-1 on the road.
The Predators are only averaging 3.02 Goals per Game, which leaves them 13th overall in the current NHL overall standings. Defensively they are excellent though, with them only allowing just 2.51 Goals per Game to leave them in top position overall. On an individual basis, Craig Smith is the leading scorer for the Predators with 14 goals. Ryan Johansen leads the way in terms of assists, with 28 so far.
These teams both have genuine hopes of winning the Stanley Cup this year, which doesn’t make our NHL predictions easy. However, the Maple Leafs have a slightly better record this season and possess a greater goal threat. With home-ice advantage too, they are our bet on the Money Line odds in this one.
