The Toronto Raptors (16-7) play the LA Clippers (18-7) in a highly anticipated NBA game at the Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors returned to winning ways with a narrow 93-92 road win at the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, so snapping their three-game losing streak. Toronto could have been on the end of a fourth straight loss, but Zach LaVine missed a runner in traffic along the left side for the Bulls in the closing seconds.

The Raptors also rallied late on in scoring nine straight, after the Bulls had built an 85-77 lead in the fourth quarter. Pascal Siakam led the way with 22 points for Toronto, with Norman Powell adding 17.

Guard Fred VanVleet missed the game for the Raptors because of a bruised right knee, although the good news is that an MRI showed no structural damage.

LA Clippers

The Clippers also won on the road on Monday night, with a 110-99 victory at the Indiana Pacers for a fourth win in five games.

Paul George scored 36 points and nine rebounds on his third time back in Indianapolis. Montrezl Harrell added 26 points and eight rebounds and Patrick Beverley had 11 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Kawhi Leonard was a no show as sat the game out on the second night of a back-to-back with a sore left knee.

Back on November 11, the Clippers won 98-88 when they hosted the Raptors in LA in the first meeting of the season. Toronto did hold Leonard to 2-for-11 shooting from the field and he finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.

Player Match Up: Pascal Siakam v Kawhi Leonard

The Match Up here is Pascal vs Kawhi. The man leading the charge for the Raptors this season against the player who led them to a first-ever NBA Championship last season.

Wednesday evening should see Kawhi get a great reception on his first visit to Toronto since signing for the Clippers after his lone season with the Raptors.

Pascal is leading the way for the Raptors in scoring, with a current average of 24.5 PPG. He adds 8.4 rebounds per game, 45.8 % while shooting from the floor and 81.1% from the free throw line.

Leonard is shooting 25.1 Points per Game (PPG) for the Clippers, with 7.9 rebounds per game and Kawhi is at 44.7% when shooting from the floor. From the free throw line he’s at 85.3%.

Toronto will want to stop their former teammate putting in a match-winning performance, while Pascal will be looking to show why he is the player on whom the Raptors now rely.

Toronto Raptors vs LA Clippers H2H Stats

The statistical comparisons for this game see the Raptors currently averaging 111.7 Points per Game (PPG) on the offence and allowing 105.3 (PA)

Raptors vs Clippers Betting Lines & Pick

The best NBA betting odds on the Money Line sees the Toronto Raptors at +115 (2.15) with bet365, with the LA Clippers at odds of -122 (1.82) with 888Sport.

Having gone down to back-to-back home-court losses, Toronto will be desperate to return to winning ways for their fans here. The Raptors don’t have a great record against the top teams this season, but with the Clippers only being 5-6 on the road, Toronto are the tips to win.
