The UFC will celebrate its 25th anniversary on 10th November with a featherweight bout featuring former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie “The Answer” Edgar and former UFC Featherweight Championship challenger Chan Sung Jung (a.k.a. “Korean Zombie”) as the event headliner at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Edgar has a 23-6-1 MMA record and suffered the only KO of his career to date when losing to Brian Ortega at UFC 222 in March this year.  He’s since gone on to beat Cub Swanson by unanimous decision in his last fight in April.

Edgar holds notable wins over Yair Rodriguez, Jeremy Stephens, Sean Sherk, BJ Penn, Gray Maynard, Urijah Faber and Chad Mendes during his UFC career.

Jung has a 14-4 MMA career record, but his last fight was back in February 2017 when he beat Dennis Bermudez with a 1st Round KO.  That was his only MMA fight since August 2013, with a combination of injuries and his two-year stint of mandatory military service in his home country of South Korea halting his career.

Should he beat Edgar, Jung is expecting a title shot against the winner of Max Holloway vs. Brian Ortega, who fight at the upcoming UFC 231 event this December in Toronto.

Edgar is a warm favourite to win the fight at odds of -225 with bet365*, with Jung available at +187.50, also with bet365*.  As impressive as his win over Bermudez was, it was nearly two years ago and it’s difficult to back Jung given his inactivity in the Octagon in recent years, so the pick has to be Edgar in this one.

Betting Tips: Winner – Frankie Edgar @ -225 with bet365*
