US Open 2019 Betting Odds
The US Open betting odds will of course be dominated by the big names of the game, who’ve well and truly dominated over the last few years
In the men’s singles, Novak Djokovic has won two of the three Grand Slams so far this year and is the reigning US Open Champion. That’s placed him as a firm favourite at +120, ahead of both Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer at +400 and +550 respectively.
In the women’s singles, results have been a little more competitive. All three majors this year have been won by different players. That could be four of Serena lives up to the title of favourite and takes the title.
She’s a +400 favourite ahead of Simona Halep and Naomi Osaka both of whom are real contenders.
Below you’ll find the full odds for the US Open with William Hill:
- Novak Djokovic: +120
- Rafael Nadal: +400
- Roger Federer: +550
- Alexander Zverev: +1600
- Stefanos Tsitsipas: +2500
- Serena Williams: +400
- Simona Halep: +750
- Naomi Osaka: +900
- Ashleigh Barty: +1000
- Bianca Andreescu: +1400
- Karolina Pliskova: +1400
US Open 2019 Betting Tips & Predictions
The US Open looks set to be a real thriller this year, particularly in the women’s singles. All focus was on the women during Wimbledon and that looks set to continue, with Serena on the hunt of her 24th Grand Slam and Cori Gauff, the young 15-year-old being handed a wild card place.
In terms of the outright market, we’d back the US superstar to claim the win. She was looking good at Wimbledon and as her development and return to the game continues, it seems natural progression for her to go on and finish the year in real style.
Ashleigh Barty and Simona Halep are also worthy of a backing, while we’d certainly have a free bet on Gauff to do some damage in the early rounds in front of a home crowd.
As for the men’s game, it’s perhaps difficult to see past reigning champ Novak. The world number one has been in phenomenal form, providing one of the best Finals in generations at Wimbledon a few months ago and winning four out of the last five Grand Slams.
If you’re looking for more of an outsider, Dominic Thiem is perhaps not too far off a Grand Slam and at +2800 would certainly be worth backing.
