Manon Fiorot Moneyline (-205)

Mateusz Gamrot to Win by Decision (+130)

The total package in mixed martial arts, Mateusz Gamrot looks like the future of the lightweight division as he gets his shot to crack the top-10 as he faces proven veteran, Beneil Dariush. While Dariush has compiled wins over big names such as Tony Ferguson, Gamrot is a talent like he has never faced before.

Dariush has incredible fight IQ to pair with a world class skillset, but Gamrots power, explosiveness, and insane striking ability makes him a tough matchup for any fighter. In this bout, look for Gamrot to slowly wear down his opponent, mixing his striking with his wrestling to keep control of the pace of the matchup.

Dariush may be a great fighter, but Gamrot is ready to take the next step in becoming the next top-ranked fighter to come out of Poland. Back Gamrot to win this clash on the judges scorecards as he continues his rise in notoriety.

Petr Yan VS Sean O’Malley: Fight to be Won by Unanimous Decision (-115)

Don’t say running your mouth never gets you anywhere, or at least don’t tell that to “Sugar” Sean O’Malley as he steps foot in the octagon with former Bantamweight Champion, Petr “No Mercy” Yan.

Entering this matchup as a heavy favourite, O’Malley has yet to face someone of Yans abilities in his career, the closest coming to his lone loss coming at the hands (and leg kicks) of Marlon “Chito” Vera. After his last bout was declared a No Contest due to an inadvertent eye-poke by O’Malley against Pedro Munhoz, O’Malleys claim to the top of the division is paper thin.

While he is one of the most exciting personalities both inside and outside the cage, O’Malley has his hands full in the hungry Russian, Petr Yan. Yan has the edge in almost every single facet of this fight, from striking, to grappling, all the way to fight IQ, he is a force to be reckoned with inside the octagon.

This fight will be interesting to watch stylistically speaking, as O’Malley will have at least one distinct advantage over his opponent, in his insane height and length for his weight class. At 5′11, O’Malley will easily keep the 5′7 Yan at bay, able to prevent Yan from getting too close and dishing out punishment with knockout power if he steps within striking distance.

While Yan is still the clear-cut favourite to claim victory, don’t expect O’Malley to simply rollover. Someone is set to control this bout from start to finish, but until the bell rings, this fight could be up-for-grabs. Back Yan VS O’Malley to finish as a unanimous decision victory and make it rain after winning on this UFC 280 bet.

Aljamain Sterling to Win by Submission (+400)

The first of two World Title fights, the Bantamweight strap will be put on the line between former-champion, T.J. Dillashaw and current champion, Aljamain “Funk Master” Sterling. Both men wanted this matchup as the two look to establish who is the top dog in their division.

In this matchup, the biggest difference maker will ultimately be the grappling and submission skills of Aljamain Sterling. With four submission victories, including a beautifully executed rear-naked choke win against Cory Sandhagen, Sterling is one of the UFC’s most dangerous grapplers.

Going up against an elite striker in Dillashaw, Sterling knows his best chance at securing victory and retaining his title will come by taking the fight to the ground. Dillashaw hasn’t faced many with the grappling acumen of Sterling and may struggle to maintain control within the clinch or on the mat.

In this co-main event, back Sterling to keep the Bantamweight crown and continue to carve out his own legacy within the UFC. Sterling will be defending his title for the second time but this time around, in dominant fashion, securing a finish by submission in the five-round bout.

Charles Oliveira to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (+550)

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time for the Main Event. One of the biggest fights in the divisions illustrious history, the battle between Sambo wrestling and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu will finally be put to the test as Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira takes on Islam Makhachev for the vacant Lightweight Championship.

In a clash that has the entire MMA world divided, we are backing the underdog and former-champion Charles Oliveira to win this championship bout in decisive fashion.

With one of the best resumes on the UFC roster, Oliveira has laid waste to the top contenders in the division, finishing all three of his last fights against top-talent in Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje.

His mixture of incredible composure in the octagon mixed with his dangerous ability to end his opponents night both on the feet or on the ground makes Oliveira one of the most complete fighters on the roster.

Standing across from him is the young prodigy of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev. Makhachev has looked like a freak of nature in his career, taking his opponents into deep waters and forcing them to break to his will inside the cage. While Makhachev is as impressive as title challengers come, he is not yet prepared to duel with the likes of Oliveira.

So far Makhachev has not faced a top-10 ranked opponent, his biggest wins arguably coming against Bobby Green or Dan “Hangman” Hooker on short notice. With his inexperience against the cream of the crop, it’s hard to picture Makhachev rising to the top. Even with the crowd heavily behind him, Oliveira may just be too good to stop.

We have seen Oliveira face serious adversity early on into fights, only to quickly rally and defeat his opponent. Look for Oliveira to take the first round to feel out his opponent, before finally unleashing the fury of the Favela on Makhachev, reclaiming his title by knockout.

Hammer Oliveira by knockout and win big on this once-in-a-lifetime fight at UFC 280.
